About me
I am a classically trained pianist with a BA in Music Performance from the University of Chichester. After attaining my Grade 8 from the Royal Irish Academy of Music at age 16, I began performing in a wide range of solo concerts, competitions, bands and ensembles. I have been teaching piano for 6 years, to musicians of all ages and abilities.

I also studied at BIMM London for a year in contemporary music performance, and so as a busy multi-instrumentalist I spend my time working as a professional keys, synth, piano accordion player and drummer as well as a piano accompanist for several vocalists. My varied knowledge and experience enables me to draw teaching resources from classical, jazz and contemporary disciplines.

Being very patient and encouraging, my lessons are relaxed and customised to the student’s ability with great results. I have a 100% pass rate with ABRSM examinations and can help with everything from basic dexterity and theory to advanced performance and musicianship. With passion and commitment I believe that everyone can become a great pianist and fall in love with the piano and it’s potential!

“Hannah's studio is in a superb location, just a few minutes walk from the clock tower. Hannah teaches on her digital piano and is soon to purchase a top end hybrid Casio piano which amalgamates acoustic hammer action and digital sound design.” Paul Hunter, Head Teacher, Brighton Piano School - PLUK
