Piano lessons in Hove

About me
From the age of four, I was classically trained in piano through the esteemed Suzuki method, and at age 11 I was accepted into the prestigious St Mary's Music School in Edinburgh. It was there that my passion for piano and cello flourished and took root.

I went on to gain two BA Honours in Music from the University of Brighton, and in 2016 I proudly acquired my Suzuki teaching qualification.

With over 13 years of teaching experience under my belt, I have had the privilege of guiding both adults and children of all skill levels. My approach to teaching students how to play the piano and music in general rests on the firm belief that a solid foundation in piano technique is imperative for learning how to play the piano with skill and finesse.

Beyond the technical aspects, I strive to ignite a spark of inspiration within my students, nurturing their sensitivity and musicianship. I encourage the exploration of playing from memory, alongside the invaluable skill of learning to read sheet music and notation.

I look forward to seeing you at my piano studio in Hove for a piano lesson in the near future.
