About me
Hi there! My name is Will Nash and I am a multi-instrumentalist, composer, educator, piano teacher and headteacher of PLUK Brighton. My first memory of being interested in music was at the age of 6, and a year later I took up the clarinet, and later the saxophone. I quickly progressed through all grades on these instruments and at the age of 11, I began playing the piano and guitar, which is when inspiration really took hold.

Since then, my love and dedication for what I do has taken me on tours across Europe, songwriting camps in America, and stages at some of the most famous festivals in the world. My other passion in life is that of learning and the passing on of knowledge, and in May 2023 I became the headteacher of PLUK Brighton, with the aim of providing quality piano tuition to students of all ages and abilities across the city. I have a 100% pass rate in practical exams, and I also teach music theory and run performance workshops.

I have a lot of experience teaching both in and out of schools, to children and adults. The main focus in my piano tuition is to ensure that they are enjoyable. I have a 100% pass rate in exams and have experience with the ABRSM, Trinity, and Rock School exam boards.

We can go down the piano exam route, use the PLUK piano courses or explore anything you would like to! I always ensure to find out what music my students enjoy listening to and to integrate them into my lessons. I believe that the best way to learn how to play piano music is to play the songs you love.

All the best,

Will
