Jessica Bowen

Piano teacher in Redland

About me
"I have played the piano since the age of 7 and achieved Grade 8 distinction at the age of 15. Whilst at school, I loved to accompany choirs and theatre performances. I have accompanied the Llanelli Male Voice Choir, a local female choir in my home town called 'A Choired Taste', and the Warley Male Voice choir in Birmingham. I have also achieved Grade 8 distinctions in my other instruments, alto saxophone and clarinet. I recently graduated from the University of Birmingham with a first- class honours in music. At Birmingham, I specialized in composition and composed for the University’s Concert Band and professional musicians including the Birmingham Contemporary Music Group. I also enjoy composing piano pieces for all abilities. I am currently studying an MA in Composition of Music for Film and Television at the University of Bristol"

I look forward to meeting you!
